Deck Expansion with Composite Decking & Metal Railing
The Goal: The Goal: Expand a small, aging deck to create a more functional outdoor space while dramatically reducing long-term maintenance.
Key Features: We doubled the size of the existing 12’ x 10’ deck and reconfigured the stair layout to better integrate with the home’s landscaping and yard flow. The entire surface was upgraded with premium composite decking.
Design Detail: Picture-framed perimeter boards and hidden fasteners provide a clean, high-end finish, while a sleek metal railing system wraps the entire deck for a modern, unobstructed look.
The Win: A dramatic increase in usable outdoor space paired with a low-maintenance build. This is about as close to a maintenance-free deck as you can get.
